M: Okay, here we are. Scenic France.
D: In this picture, it is cold. It is raining. The station announcements are in at least three languages, two of which we know, yet we cannot understand any of them as they are being transmitted via two tin cans and a piece of string, from the bottom of an empty cistern.
M: By the time this photo was taken, I had had my first frustrating conversation with an insane Frenchman, and Marmot had been given bad change. And that can of Coke is warm.
D: Take a look at those seats. They are cool and sleek and modern in exactly the sort of way that makes you take a step backwards in the gallery, scratch your chin, and nod, "Ah yes, how elegant and futuristic." In the gallery, that is. Here in real life, they are freezing our cheeks shut.
